The days really are whizzing by - it must be the sunshine that makes that happen - yes we have been having some lovely weather here.
My post today will 'tidy up' our Paris visit.
We always try to fit in a visit to Parc Montsouris on our last morning in Paris.
It was a bit chilly, but sunny.
We sat on this bench with our coffees as it was too shaded in front of the kiosk - hmm.....no photo of the coffee!
We've never seen this croc before!
We walked through lots of street art to get to a restaurant we visit regularly - Chez Nennesse.
This is where we will join Bleubeard and Elizabeth for T Stands for Tuesday.
Hubby often 'helps me out' with desserts - this was a delicious chocolate and pear tart. If we hadn't been going to catch Eurostar home I would probably have taken half away with me. As you may see he had a cheesecake of his own.
Thanks for looking, Chris
Chris what lovely flowers ,street art and desserts.Happy T day! hugs!deb
ReplyDeleteI was SOOOOOOOOOOO impressed with the murals. Not a single tag or graffiti marking these. Parisians obviously respect others' murals.
ReplyDeleteLovely statues amid the flowers, too. Just beautiful.
Your chocolate and pear tart looks good, but so does T's cheesecake. Thanks for taking us on this off-the-beaten-path through a part of Paris few tourists will ever see. Thanks, too for sharing your desserts and waters with us for T this Tuesday.
The park looks beautiful, gorgeous blue skies, even if chilly. fab looking desserts too. Great street art as well. Helen x
ReplyDeleteFab art and pictures, Chris. I had no idea there was that much you could just see on the streets. Wonderful post.
ReplyDeleteYour dessert looks like the best so I totally see why your sweet hubby wanted to try it.
Happy T-day late. Hugz
What?? A Croc in Paris??? A beautiful park that would certainly clear out quickly if I had seen crocodile.
ReplyDeleteYour desserts look delicious and the art on the way to the restaurant is fabulous!!
Happy Belated Tea Day,
Kate
