Hello everyone, the weather has been so unpredictable here. We watched a weather forecast one morning and decided to go for a walk...by the time we were ready to leave home it was raining - rain had been forecast for late afternoon.
We did get to Fletcher Moss on our way shopping.
Plenty of seats by the cafe trucks but still a bit chilly for us to sit outside
I love seeing 'Glory Of The Snow' growing as it reminds me of our caravan
We're looking forward to walking around the woods soon but for now we'll stick to the firmer paths.
We walked up the road for a quick look at The Parsonage gardens.
The fascinating Edgeworthia ....One of my favourite Spring sights is grass with Spring bulbs in bloom
We bought coffee and scone at the supermarket.
There was a special offer of buy a hot drink and get a scone for £1 - good enough to join Bleubeard and Elizabeth for T stands for Tuesday. I think!
As you can see they are getting ready for Easter in the cafe.
I hope to be here next week but we will be getting ourselves prepared to go to.......Oh, you know where.........!
Thanks for looking, Chris
You really have spring with April showers (even though it's March). What lovely walk photos. I think I live in the wrong place-smile. The gardens are beautiful Chris and I'm glad you managed a walk. Have a nice rest of your T day, although it might be over by the time you read this comment. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see all the green and the flowers! We have another snowstorm coming in today and several more inches of snow predicted. :)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful where you live Chris-enjoyed all of the pretty photos. we have allot of rain coming in this week too with a little bit warmer temperatures too.
ReplyDeleteHappy T and Happy Spring Hugs Kathy
The English spring flowers that I really loved (and that aren’t here in North America) are aubretia. Maybe they have already finished their flowering season. All your photos are very appealing.

There is still some snow in my back yard so it was nice to see so much green and flowers. We're still a few weeks away before daffodils bloom. After all that walking around a hot drink and a scone sounds real good. And even better for short money! Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteWonderful place to wander! It's hard to choose a favorite. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteFletcher Moss is lovely this time of year. I like the daffs and the weeping willow. Really beautiful springtime flowers.
ReplyDeleteYour scones look good enough to eat and it was good to see your coffee drinks, too. Thanks for taking us on a walk and sharing your scones and drinks with us for T this Tuesday, dear Chris.
What a lovely place you have shared with us. I even liked the picturesque street sign in one of the first photos. And scones to finish off our walk! Happy T Day, Chris.
ReplyDeleteAll those daffodils are lovely! A sure sign of spring - among some others. I have the feeling that spring is on its way in your corner of the world.
ReplyDeleteOh, Spring is really coming alive in your place, how wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteP.S. no it´s six weeks holiday in Perth in Feb/Mar 2024...
Beautiful photos Chris! It looks like a lovely Spring walk.

Weather is so unpredictable even for the "experts." One of those things God ensures we don't get too cocky about. Your walk was still super beautiful and the drink/scones look wonderful. You two find such lovely places. Happy T-day and hugz
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty spring scenes! We've been having plenty of rain, too. That scone looks tasty. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteSo glad you were able to get out. It is so pretty there. Have a lovely day today.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had such a beautiful walk, and a bargain drink and scone! Hugs, Valerie
