It has meant that I have got on with my craft room organisation and although I still have stamps and papers to sort through I'm pretty pleased with the way its going.
The dark days had me making this page for Valerie's 'Anything Goes' theme at Art Journal Journey
I used some leftover paper scraps, a little bit of paint daubing, some writing with a white sign uni-ball pen an image from an unused note card.
The day was so grey today that the solar lights on my balcony hardly made a glimmer.
Hopefully eldest had a better day at his manoir, when I spoke to him this morning he said the sun was shining brightly and there was a mist in the valley that was clearing slowly.
Thanks for looking, Chris
Too bad about the weather but that's how I feel here too!
ReplyDeleteGreat fabulous jorunal page!
Have a good day , hug Elke
Hi Chris, thanks for another lovely journal spread for my anything goes challenge at AJJ. We had lots of bad weather here, too, but this afternoon we had sunshine, and that was great, Nobod likes grey skies all the time. Have a good weekend, hopefully with better weather! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI finally got out today to walk, so I know what you mean about not getting to walk. But you must be happy to get more organizing done. And since it's been grey and dreary, I like how you used all grey on your page and also used those outside words. This is another beauty Chris. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteAwesome page Chris, we haven't had nice weather here either lately-back to very cold again tonight Happy Friday and weekend

Nice work
ReplyDeleteLove this journal page. Remnds me of a lady who makes black and white art from magazine images. Yours is charming and adorable. Great use of your papers, too. Thanks for another great entry using Valerie's theme at AJJ.
ReplyDeleteNice collage. Bravo
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday
