Hi everyone, I cleared my desk briefly - before stacking more things to sort through so I made a tag and finished another page.
The tag had been stripped of whatever was on there before and turned up in my tidy up. I added a sticky backed flower to the middle of the text flower and then added more lace. I covered the wooden heart with some book paper and then inked the edges and stuck it onto the tag with some threads underneath it.I am joining in at Tag Tuesday where Pinky has chosen Love/Hearts for the theme this time.
I have this page for Erika's 'Red' theme at Art Journal Journey.
I love the Lady and the Unicorn tapestries so when I came across this saved pic I just had to use it for Erika's theme.
I had some free paper from a magazine which I stuck onto the page then mounted the image onto black and used a scrap of bright Christmas designer paper at the top and for stamping the quote on.
I had a butterfly and some leaves which were added too.
I'm dashing now as I have to be at a meeting(it's that time of year!)
Thanks for looking, Chris
Lovely tag. Awesome page and perfect for the red challenge
ReplyDeleteGreat tag Chris. Nice idea not to use red. And your red page is amazing. I just love that medieval image. And adding the butterfly and the leaves around it is a wonderful idea. It keeps that medieval feel. And is that a die cut flower I see too? Thanks so much for linking up a page at AJJ. It is appreciated. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI'm inspired by your work. Maybe I will do an art project

I love your very romantic tag. It is beautiful and has a real vintage feel. I also love that journal page. The Ladies and Unicorns on that tapestry are very medieval feeling. Just lovely and nice use of free papers, too. Thanks for this great entry at AJJ using Erika's theme.
