WOYWW 697

Hi everyone, the only thing you will see on my desk is evidence of a missing mojo.

I know I don't have to have anything on my desk at all to share over at Julia's Stamping Ground blog for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday but this is as it is this morning and has been (plus or minus a few bits) since Sunday.

Journals are ready - I have stamps and papers ready too.

I even made a page on Sunday but not with what I had out. I just plonked the journal I used on top of everything here to make it.

The problem is, I think, is that I had such a good time with friends at Port Sunlight and came home with new goodies, I want to play with the new stuff rather than get on to something I should be doing!

If you'd like to see the goodies and the page I made it is the post before this one.

Meanwhile I'm about to have one of hubby's specialities - Butternut  Squash soup (it's smelling great) so do excuse me!

Thanks for looking, Chris

  2. Hi Chris - it's a lovely desk even if you say it is evidence of missing mojo. It's full of it for us as the spectators - lots of lovely things on their.
Wish I had been able to be at Port Sunny but we were on our way back from our soggy week near the Lakes. I am sure you had a wonderful time with Sarah and the others - loved the photos of you all.
Fingers crossed for the mojo to get back to you.
    Hugs, Neet 5 xx

  3. Hi Chris,
It's been another crazily busy day for me with the Advent calendars flying out my door as soon as I put them up for sale so my feet have only just stopped for a quick break and time to visit a few of my favourite blogs.
Really hope your mojo comes home soon.
    Hugs,

  7. This happens to us all Chris. You need to walk away from the desk and give Mr Mojo time to rest and then he'll soon be back again. Enjoy your soup. Sending you best wishes for a very happy woyww, Angela x9x

  8. I love it when my hubby cooks. Usually it's me because he still works full time. And I don't blame you wanting to play with the new things instead of doing things you need to do. It is one of the downsides of hostin or being on a design teag, isn't it? Hope you had some play time. Hugs-Erika

  9. Could almost smell the soup! This is the time of year for it.
Lovely tiger page. Sometimes the muse needs a short break. Yours will never leave you for long. ;)

  10. Hi Chris! I have a houseful of Covid today and my daughter (who is pregnant) has de-camped to her boyfriend's. It was only a matter of time I guess, at least I haven't been too ill. I think you just need to put all that other stuff away and play with your new goodies - do what makes you happy!! Sorry I'm late, I ended up in the garden all day yesterday it was so lovely. 12. I do like a bowl of butternut squash soup, I hope it was lovely! Really is there stuff you have to get on with versus stuff you want to do? Can’t you play with your new stuff and make journal pages. That new stuff is impressive, very nice, and I can totally understand why you should want to play!
