Hi everyone, I have had a day out with grandchildren and son today - we went to the RHS Bridgewater - absolutely blown away by it - I'm sure some of you in. the UK may have seen the programmes about it but I can tell you it is far better than it looks on TV.
I will write a post especially for it as soon as I can sort through the many photos I took!
Meanwhile here are my calendar pages. I am of course going to link to Art Journal Journey and Wendy's 'Vintage' theme
If you are thinking it doesn't look finished you would be right!Instead of writing up notes and then adding them when we come back I am taking some squares away with me to fill in daily. The are holding on here with some sticker glue. I will also be filling in a travel journal while we're away.
I stamped and stencilled using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and then stamped the Tim Holtz Vintage style photo and Eifel Tower then added some Craft box images.
Here is August's all filled in
I had intended adding a typewriter image that I stamped out but I think I have tidied it away with some thing else - I will find it - I will use it!!!
Thanks for looking, Chris
You lead such an incredibly active life, dear. I would love to go as much as you. Even when you stay home, you do something interesting. I love reading your tiny handwriting, too. The September calendar is brilliant and so perfect for Wendy's theme at Art Journal Journey.
ReplyDeleteboth sets of pages look great - i hope you have a wonderful trip to France and look forward to the photos!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful calendars, have fun filling in the days for September. Great piece for Wendy's theme, too. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteA fabulous September page, love the vintage look of it. I do these type of diaries, but rarely manage to fill all the squares in. A few days go by and I can't remember what I did.
ReplyDeleteHugs Wendy
Beautiful calendar pages, though I think I would hate writing on them for fear of messing them up. 😺 I love the blue design of August. You sure were busy.
ReplyDeleteThis is another fabulous calendar Chris. I've forgotten about that old TH stamp with the children. I need to find mine I guess as it is such a nice stamp. It's also nice to see your August calendar with that fun blue text. Life has been busy again, hasn't it? Have a wonderful start to your weekend Chris. Hope you get to have more family fun. Hugs-Erika
