Hi everyone, a fairly bright day today (at least until the forecast rain gets here)
I MAY have mentioned our 3 cancelled Paris trips before :-)
We are still unsure whether to make a definite booking yet for later this year but meanwhile I have made a page about my favourite city.
I used a favourite Carabelle Studio stamp by Azoline and some by Creative Expressions, along with some text stamps. The Paper doll couple have been enjoying visiting some famous Paris landmarks and are looking for somewhere to eat - I could recommend a few places.I am joining in at
Art Journal Journey and Elle's theme of 'Language' - it's good to attempt to speak new languages when travelling
Country View Challenges has the theme of 'We will Always Have Paris'
Thanks for looking, Chris
I love France and Paris. And I also speak French. You can see on my blog today how I improve my language skills.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Paris page Chris. I like the vintage look a lot. And I know what you mean about whether to book trips or not. Who knows what will happen as time goes on. I worry about booking something and getting there and still so many restrictions in place. Well at least we can make art journal pages to get us through. Hope all is well. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteQuite a clever way to get your France and Paris fix while waiting to actually go there. It is so hard to know yet what we should do and what we should wait to do. I would want to be sure to have the best possible time. So journal pages are the answer for now.
ReplyDeleteFabulous journal page Chris, Paris is really always worth visiting. Hope you will be able to visit soon! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteA fantastic Paris page Chris, one day you will get your planned visit to Paris, its good to have something to look forward to doing when/if things bet back close to being normal.
ReplyDeleteStay safe.
Yvonne xx
I always love it when you use Paris in your art journal. I really like that stamp, and how you treated the couple who I suspect are speaking French as they see the sites and sights of Paris. Thank you for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey using Elle's theme, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteLove your page Chris and the vintage-y colour you used on it. That stamp is really cool too. I hope you are able to visit Paris again soon, fingers crossed eh. Thanks for joining me for the Language theme at Art Journal Journey this month Elle xx
ReplyDeleteTravel is still a big question. We all hope things will get back to normal or closer to it soon. I hope you get to Paris for sure this year...as soon as is possible. Lovely page. Great couple. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your Paris page Chris! xx
ReplyDeleteOh, this is a very lovely page. Gosh, you definitely have the wanderlust going on! xoxo
ReplyDeleteLovely page! A great collection of stamps on the Paris theme, perfect for our Country View Challenge this month.
ReplyDeleteChris, I'm a bit late, but when I saw the Paris theme at CVC, I had to see if your artwork was in the gallery, as I was certain it was. Great page with a vintage feel. Never been to Paris, but I imagine you have depicted it perfectly! I enjoyed taking a stroll with you from your last post too! Hope all is well with you! Hugs! Sara Emily
ReplyDeleteA lovelys page Chris, and of your favourite city. I hope you do get to visit Paris this year but if not you have the most wonderful memories and photos so you can visit any time you want. Just get those photos out and reminisce.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Neet xx
I know you love Paris, and now you created a beautiful scene of it and the couple is a chic as Paisian can.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice middle of the week xx
