Hi everyone, everything slowly finding a place now! There is a long way to go, but I have managed to clear enough space on my craft desk to finish a journal page that I have been adding to in short bursts for over a week now!
I'm not so happy with it as my Mojo is playing hide and seek but I did want to join Yvonne again at Art Journal Journey with her 'Words and Numbers' theme!
I used some stencil mop ups before I started adding some stamping with paper Artsy stamps and Aall and Create stencils.
The quote made me smile as it is about making a beginning - exactly what I did!
Thanks for looking, Chris
A fantastic page Chris and I do like the quote, we all have to start at the beginning. Thank you for joining us at Art journal Journal and finding time to enjoy a bit of crafting.

I am glad you cleared off your workspace to be able to share this page with us. It sounds like you have your handsful with your unpacking. I hope you wrap it up soon. Have a happy new year. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling of having too many boxes or not enough places to put things. I'm glad you found a way to set aside both time and space to create this great journal entry with a beautiful quote by Goethe. I like the monochromatic feel to the piece, too. Thanks for sharing it with us at Art Journal Journey, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful page Chris. Have a great week, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteA wonderful page dear Chris!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and a happy start of 2020 in case we read us not until then!
A fantastic page!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish you and family a happy new year and stay healthy!
Greetings Elke
You have such great mop up pages, Chris. It must be nice not to face a blank page when you want to journal. I bet it feels nice also to have a cleaner space to create in. I decluttered this past year and I feel lighter and more free. Eileen xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful page and I'm loving the quote that you added, so inspirational 😁. So glad to hear that you are getting up everything back in order again and finding homes for everything. Wishing you a happy and peaceful New Year! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteLooks pretty sweet for having no mojo and working in spurts, I'd say. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's a lovely page - the gradual build up of layers has given it a beautiful depth, and the bumblebee makes me smile. So glad to hear you are starting to get straight... I can easily imagine that the mojo can go walkabout when you're trying to find the space to create. (Eeekk... not looking forward to transporting my craft room across a continent this coming year!).
