More Kew...

This will be mainly pics of the inside of the Temperate house! When we went to Kew last year it was a really hot day and we decided to give it a miss!
This time of course there was no way we were going to miss those Chihuly glass sculptures!
The photos with a T underneath are hubby's.
I loved this first one but decided against climbing the stairs to the gallery!

Exotic plants and such beautiful colours!

There were lots of pear shaped sculptures!

I love the name of this plant

A treat to see these cousins of something that grows in our garden and one that my Dad loved!

We are dashing off now for another sort out at our caravan - and maybe to fit in a walk...or two!

Thanks for looking, Chris

  3. Oh Chris, I had seen every Chihuly that Helen has shared, yet yours are SO much different from hers. Much has to do with the angle from which you shot your photos. These were a real treat for my eyes. Only a few of the sculptures looked the same as Helen's. Most put a different perspective on the pieces I had grown to recognize so well from her blog. These are incredible.

  5. I love seeing the Chihuly through your eyes too (although a little surprised at Elizabeth's comment as I have taken loads from similar angles to you) Shame you didn't climb the stairs, you got such great views especially of the blue persian, from up there. It's not too hot inside the TH (being kept at our own temperate climate lol) but so glad you enjoyed it this time
