I used some Carabelle Studio background stamps (influenced by watching Leonie on Hochanda yesterday)
I used book paper, a napkin and some mop up paper on top - it reminded me of being at Kew in the indoor plant areas and how large some of the plants were!
This young man visited too, and came away with dreams of visiting the jungle...although it does look as though it may remain a dream!
We saw some beautiful flowers at Kew..
..and I'll be back soon with more photos!
Thanks for looking, Chris
It's cold and rainy here, so your flower photos are brightening up my morning :)
ReplyDeleteI am on a catch up Chris. All your photos from your visit to Kew have looked lovely. Seeing flowers in bloom at this time of year must have been a real treat.

That's a gorgeous page Chris. The background is spectacular on its own. And love the Beatles quote. Gorgeous flowers photos too. I can't wait to see more. And what's t come...hmmm. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteHe's just the right choice for those words - that Paper Doll has always looked slightly unworldly to me, living in a dream of his own. The giant plants are fabulous and fantastical (in the original sense of both those words) - like an Alice in Wonderland tropical dream. I love those book text words drifting above his head too. Great page, and gorgeous floral close-ups from Kew.

Fabulous page, Chris. I love that stamp ... and the song. Thank you for all of your support for my Dreams theme at AJJ. Ten pages - wow! Eileen
ReplyDeletePretty, wistful page and gorgeous flowers. :)
ReplyDeleteA beautiful page, and gorgeous flowers Chris! Must see if I can catch Leonie's show.

Still playing catch-up. This is a gem. That guy went to Kew, so he fits in quite nicely. I'm loving your take on Eileen's theme at AJJ and how well he fits in among the huge flowers found there. Also love your photos from Kew, too. Thanks belatedly for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey.
