My favourite!

When I saw the theme for Tag Tuesday - 'My Favourite Stamp' I knew straightaway what it would be ( I have a favourite set of stamps but that's another story!!!)

Here's my tag...

...and even with Paris and France featured on the Crafty Individuals stamps they are not my favourites...can you guess?
Yes, you have seen it before several times - my favourite background stamp ever (CI430)! I love this stamp so much that instead of taking it each time we go to our caravan I have an identical stamp there too! Here it is stamped onto and ink stained tag.
Mainly because I worried that I might leave it behind and not be able to use it!
Some times I only use a tiny part of it but mostly it's the whole stamp!

I would also like to enter at:-
A Vintage Journey where the theme is 'Celebrate the Journey - Happy Birthday AVJ'
AVJ are celebrating 5 years of the challenge - may the journey continue!
My tag represents the place I would journey to if I only had one choice...if you a regular reader of my blog you will know how true this is...Oh!.. and watch this space!!!!

Sorry this is a short post - Midsummer Murders starts again tonight!!

Thanks for looking, Chris

  4. Gorgeous tag Chris and I have to agree with you that it’s a stunning background stamp. The first time I saw it was on one of Avril’s cards and I knew then that I’d have to buy it. I really enjoy reading about your travels. The Lake District is one of our favourite places, so it’s lovely being able to visualise lots of the places you talk about. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

  9. I can understand that this is your favourite background stamp as it's so appropriate to all things Paris!!!
    Your tag is gorgeous Chris!
Inspector Barnaby is our always to go programme every week and hubby and I have seen some of the series three or more times. Beside of Pater Brown and Lewis we will watch it forever I think even though we often fall asleep ..specially my hubby - he hands me the zapper, turns to the other side and sleeps instantly ... I wished I could drop off as fast as my husband is able to do regardless of blood and thunder!

    Happy new week dear Chris!
    Big, big hugs, Susi

  13. Chris, your tag is gorgeous! I love the neutral palette and your favorite stamp included on that wonderful background. (By the way, I guessed it, and it would be mine, too!) I'm tickled pink you shared this in our 5th year Celebration at A Vintage Journey. Since I'm commenting there, it's always a two-for when one of my favorites plays along--that way I'm sure to visit and leave a comment. Sorry, but my computer time is so limited these days....Sending BIG hugs!

  18. Chris, this is such a stunning tag!! I saw a peep of it already on Instagram a while back (I barely use blogger anymore), I absolutely adore it, the various elements are so cleverly put together, and I felt I just wanted to pop by to say, thanks so much for adding this to our birthday challenge at A Vintage Journey!

  19. You're right, that is an absolutely lovely stamp - giving the perfect amount of detail and antique style to any background. Love the vintage sepia neutrals of this tag too. Thanks so much for joining us at A Vintage Journey to celebrate our 5th birthday.
