T stands for........taking photographs

Hi everyone! I will start with an apology - I did make comments on everyone's posts last week but after few kept coming back at me reporting an error I checked and some are completely lost!
I did start copying and pasting the comments to add later but not to all! Not sure whether it was my laptop or a connection issue but here at home now everything seems fine!!

We didn't get out much (intentionally) while at our caravan! We sorted out a pile of stuff for the charity shop, started a jigsaw puzzle, (left on the table for next time!)and had a few short outings...one was a cold, brisk walk along the seafront at Morecambe and my hands remained firmly in my pockets so no photos!

I did enjoy the changing views in the mornings from our dining room window though...
Friday

Sunday - early morning

Sunday - one hour later
 ...and one hour later still!
It was still very cold though!!
Monday morning it was misty

This was just as we left at around 1.30
I was pleased that it had been a clear night though - the night of the Wolf Blood Moon.
Hubby took these photos on Sunday evening

It was quite cloudy as you can see...
...but, I did get a shot of my own of the lunar eclipse at around 3.30...
..and a little later...
...I should have borrowed hubby's camera but at 5.00am I wasn't thinking straight!
We decided to go to Booths for our lunch before heading down the M6!
Here's hubby with his cup of tea and a baked potato while I had soup and a breadroll.
He still thinks it's funny when I take my T photos!

Hoping to get comments to everyone this week!

Thanks for looking, Chris

  5. neither my phone or posh camera capture moon shots at all well, it is really frustrating- well done you! I couldn't even see the moon on the eclipse night too cloudy. Great sky shots, despite the cold (cold is ok if you wrap up well, it's getting wet I don't like!) - such changes over the time you took them.

  6. Wow, you got photos of the super wolf blood moon! Great job, Chris. All of the photos are lovely. I get kick out of your hubby. He's such a good sport about the T-photos and has a terrific sense of humor.

Just FYI - I got your comment last week. Don't you hate when the internet does things like zap your comments?

    Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

I did have to log out of my blog and log back in a week ago to leave a comment though.

  8. Lovely photos Chris, it was good to see the light changes as time passed by. You were lucky to get some glimpses of the moon eclipse. Not That I got up, but I'm told there was too much cloud here.
    Happy T day wishes Chris.

  10. Lovely to see the view from your caravan in all sorts of weather. It certainly is a beautiful view.
I'm doing a jigsaw too. I have one in my craft room and every now and then I sneak downstairs to add a piece.
Wow, those photos of the moon are impressive. And kudos for getting up at that unearthly hour. I couldn't be tempted although the weather heare was clear skies.
    Happy T-Day,
    Lisca

  12. My sincere apologies for not visiting sooner, but my electricity went out about 4ish this morning. It is finally back on and I keep getting interrupted while trying to play catch-up.

I love the shots from your caravan. I feel like I have joined you there over the years and it feels different, knowing this is the last year I'll see it. Those are still wonderful shots, though, s are the ones of the eclipse. Fog and clouds kept me from getting anything good.

I had a good laugh at T and his expression. He is so sweet and is a wonderful model, too. I now want a baked potato, so I just might make one as soon as I finish here.

Thanks for your impressive photos from the caravan, your moon shots, and your food and drinks you shared with us for T this Tuesday.

  15. Amazing photographs of your fantastic views and also of the red moon--it was too cloudy to see it here on the night.

I don't think I would want to go far at all if I had your wonderful plot with those views.

Hope T Day went well-always good to see your smiling hubby

    Have a great day

    Love Chrissie xx

  16. Lovely views from your dining area. It does look wintry cold out there
I love the moon photos we had clouds here so I didn't get any. I was very disappointed!

  17. I didn't even know there was an eclipse, so I'm glad I got to see yours. I wouldn't have been able to see it if I did know about it because we were having a snowstorm that night.

I love the scenery around there. Your hubby seems like such a nice guy. Have a great rest of the week. :)

  19. What do you mean you weren't thinking straight at 5am?! I kept bobbing up and down all night to check it at various stages, but it never got very bloody here - or at least not before it clouded over. Thank you for sharing your view - it's a breath of fresh air, for sure.
