My Favourite Season

I must confess to not really having one favourite Season! I love Spring of course - new growth, longer days. I love Summer - more flowers, sunny days(although I am not happy when it gets too hot!.
Autumn of course with the changing colours and the chance of seeing snow covered landscapes in Winter, although I must say I am not a fan of short days, and living in the Arctic Circle would never be an option for me!

 One thing I always look out for though are flowers - and all of these seasons have their own flowers, hence my page today, which is of course for Elizabeth's theme of 'Tis The Season or My Favourite Season! at Art Journal Journey.
I used a Distress Oxide background for these modern flowers that represent any season, coloured them in and then added some spatters!
The words are my attempt at some fancy lettering!!

    I agree with you Chris. Every season has it's charme.

    Autumn wins hands down for me, due to the colours. Spring comes a close second, then winter, then summer. which is apparently odd given I am a June baby and meant to be a summer person! but I hate the heat... I don't mind it cold as long as I am wrapped up well. Love your page, and totally agree, as long as there are flowers!

    Lovely bright, bold page - the flowers really pop against the chalky Oxide background. I always think I love one season best, and then I remember all the others!
