Hi everyone, I'm back, as some of you may already know!
We had a couple of outings...
...and we had some snow!
It was very cold overnight on Tuesday through to Wednesday morning and the thermometer had a reading of -6∞C. Now we are back to brick walls and it is a lot warmer, although with the heating on in the caravan we do get quite toasty!
I had time to play in my 6x6 journal while away too, and I have another page for Rike's Animals from A to Z at Art Journal Journey
The background was made using some bright paints, stencils stamps and texture paste.
I use an Elenas Zinski Zini stamp that reminds of a rabbit(I cut off his long tail!!!)
The Tim Holtz chit cat sticker seemed to fit nicely! I am entering in Rubber Dance February challenge
Thanks for looking, Chris
Great photos, Chris! Love the journal page, too!
ReplyDeleteChris your rabbit looks so cute, its a fabulous journal page and lovely colours and textures for the background.
ReplyDeleteThe photos looked super, I hope you had a good time away.

Gosh Chris, I think this might be my motto from now on. This is a beautiful journal page, with a perfect background and the best quote ever! Thanks for sharing it with us at Art Journal Journey.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your photos, too, although the snow made me feel even colder than I am right now.
Great journal page. Lovely photos, but it does look cold. It's still freezing over here. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteChris, I just love how you designed the page. Along with the colour combo and the saying( which I fell in love) made it a masterpiece. Hugs from

Oh what a gorgeous page Chris, it is a wonderfully warm set of colours that look so beautiful together - great design too! Love the 'snowy' scene of the garden too. Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of beautiful landscapes! I am glad that you had time to create a fabulous page while away! It's a cool quote, and a fantastic background for your cute rabbit (I laughed about your cutting off the long tail to look it really like a rabbit)!
ReplyDeleteThe color choice for the challenge (and so for your page) is very interesting, and now I see this bird with other eyes!
Thank you for linking your amazing entry to Art Journal Journey!

He's kinda cute! Love that you used the character to make into a rabbit - it worked!
ReplyDeleteGreat use of colour Chris.
I am sure you two were very cosy in the caravan, you can get them quite warm can't you. Miss ours now that we are both in a position to use it. Mind you we weren't allowed to stay over the winter months but then the journey to anglesey might have been hairy in winter.
You keep enjoying yours.
Hugs, Neet xx
This docked rabbit looks so cute and the quote is so super and the whole page makes me happy! Great that you found time for art at the caravan! Good to be in the house again - can imagine that it wasn't so nice- wintercamping is not easy-- am I right?!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for joining us at AJJ again dear Chris! We got also snow from Wednesday to Thursday... I am sure you sent it to me...
Happy weekend Chris!

Nice Chris. I love the background of your page and is that molding paste giving it that texture? It looks light and airy but very cool on the page. :) And what a cute bunny! Looks you had some nice time away, except maybe for the cold, but this is a great time for a change of scenery for sure. Happy weekend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Chris, and I love your fun page!
