This is the third card that I have made inspired by Linda of Funkie Junkie Boutique who has been making her 12 tags of Christmas since September! I am rushing through them even though I know the challenge is open until the 29th December! This is mainly because I want to use the fabulous inspiration for my cards that are hand delivered.
For this one I was going to struggle - I don't do much red and it was only by chance that I came across some stripy red paper in my stash!
I'm afraid the only similarity between Linda's fabulous tag and mine is that I have used stripes and bakers twine!
The stars and word are from an old Artemio set that gets used every year!
Thanks for looking, Chris
The stamps are lovely and I like your striped card very well!

So glad you are working these and I hope you are able to finish them before the 29th. Remember, you can keep them till next year in the event you don't get them all finished before Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI really LIKE these stamps. You have the best stamps in the world, dear friend.
Gorgeous card. Hugs, Valerie

Your candy striped Christmas card is lovely! Those stamps are fabulous too 😁. Wishing you much happiness this Christmastime! J 😊
ReplyDeleteNice! I do liked the texture in the background. And red and white stripes always work well. :) Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI think you've done a cracking job with this one. I ignored the red completely and went a long way off-piste with the stripes too! It's bright and breezy and will cheer any mantlepiece.
