I have made a Thank You card for someone special!
It wasn't my original idea but I didn't like what I had done and didn't want to waste the card.
The background was made with Paper Artsy Infusions and Pearl Glaze, which really brings out the colours inn the Infusions.
Unfortunately when I stamped my image it got a bit lost!
I had a little punch on my desk so cut out the squares and arranged them onto a card.
I stamped Lavinia seedheads and a freebie 'Thanks'
I actually quite like the mix up of colours in the squares!
I would like to enter at…
Thanks for looking, Chris

ReplyDeleteYour friend will treasure it for sure.

Wonderful card, love the colours and the squares. Hope your butt is feeling better! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI've created art before where the focal image was lost in the background, BUT, I never had the out of the box sense to cut/punch the image into squares. This is fabulous and really great thinking.
ReplyDeleteI think you ended up with a beautiful card. It was a smart way to be frugal and not waste a great background. Happy weekend. Hugs-Erika

The finished card is really interesting. Sometimes our seeming mistakes turn out to be inspirations. I think it did in your case.
ReplyDeleteLove your card Chris! Great idea! xxx
ReplyDeleteThis card is so beautifully clean and simple Chris, and what a clever idea to cut your art into small pieces and use it in a different way. The Autumnal colours work really wall and the silhouette stamping just finishes it off perfectly. Thank you for sharing it with us at Stamping Sensations and good luck. Sandra x
