I have been experimenting with my Distress Oxides.
It started when I rubbed some ink over where I wanted my flowers and I stamped my new Kay Carley stamps ...
…and that's how it remained for the past few weeks - until today, when I went back to it with some doodling with a fine black uni-ball pen and a Tippex corrector pen!
I would like to join Elizabeth, who is hosting AJJ this month with her Summertime Love theme.
I would also like to join in with the Anything Goes - optional pastel at More Mixed Media Challenge
Thanks for looking, Chris

Gorgeous page, Chris. love the delicate colours, and thanks so much for joining us at More Mixed Media, much appreciated. I won 12 distress oxide ink pad last week from a lottery in an online craft shop where I had bought something, wasn't that a stroke of luck! Hug, Valerie

Beautiful, see you soon x
ReplyDeleteI've heard of those new oxides, and I think they give an incredibly vintage look, even though they are colored. I like that you used them on kraft type paper, too. Your lovely white pen doodling certainly POPS over these oxides. The flowers say summer to me, too. Thanks for joining Art Journal Journey today. I really LOVE this page!
ReplyDeleteThe white really pops on those flowers. It is quite stunning.
ReplyDeleteSuch an amazing result. It was fantastic to see the before and the after and such a difference
ReplyDeleteLove Chrissie xx
