I have made a journal page with intention of joining some challenges - both have inspired me and I think they have combined well.
My page was sprinkled with Infusions - Royal Blood and Lemoncello and spritzed! I stamped the Elenazinkiart flower and gave it a Carabelle Studios ground along with some hanging vines and grasses(also EZ stamps) - suitably tropical do you think? I used a combination of Fresco paints, Oxide inks and Distress crayons to colour my images.
We went to see Kong Island the other week - not usually my kind of film but the scenery was fantastic! I would love to visit such a place but fear that I would be a little scared! I have used a Carabelle studios figure to represent myself - I am hoping I have a good camouflage outfit on but ….oops! I am wearing red earrings(just for the record - I don't usually wear earrings at all)
You may have guessed which challenges I am joining….

Oh, Chris, this is such a fun journal page, and I love how you have depicted YOU! (Red earrings and all!) You work magic with those Infusions! they are on my wish list! Thank you for your visit to my blog! It has totally made my day! Hugs! PS That doesn't sound like my kind of movie, either, but I too would love the scenery!

I want to be in a magic garden right now. What a great page. Hugs-erika
ReplyDeleteHad to laugh at your interpretation of your self portrait. Your garden is truly magical, and I hope you were camouflaged enough to hide there. Really a cute entry.
ReplyDeleteLove your magical garden which has been beautifully designed and created, love how you see yourself in it too, but beware that huge flower seems to be rather menacing as it hovers over you xxx
ReplyDeleteI love this Chris! It looks like the monster flower is talking to the little girl, and she is the perfect choice to go with this stamp!
ReplyDeleteLucy x
A fabulous fun page, it looks as if the little girl has taken some of Alice's shrinking potion. Some great stamps too.
ReplyDeleteHey Chris!
ReplyDeleteI sure do love your page. I have that image and love her. She is so quirky and fun. your whole design is delightful. I like the effects of he Infusions but they bled so badly when I have tried to glue something on top of them - do you do anything to your page after you sprinkled with Infusions and water? As you can tell - I really like this page.
Sandy xx
Such a fabulous page Chris...I love the colours of the Infusions and the gorgeous stamps you have used.
ReplyDeleteTFS and best wishes

Such a wonderful page, when I first saw the Carabelle studios figure on your page it immediately reminded me of you because of her hair :-) . I had so much fun visiting you today especially hearing about you wanting to visit Kong Island in camouflage and I can't stop smiling about those the red earrings (grin!). Enjoy the rest of your week! J :-)
ReplyDeleteA fabulous and fun page - love your red earrings. I think that the giant plant looks like it's got a big mouth and is eyeing you up for dinner.
