Only thing is - I got so involved that I forgot to take any photos!
I spread the glaze roughly over part of the page then sprinkled Are You Cerise and Blue Blood over the top and spread the glaze with a 'credit' card - I love how it combined the colours and left streaks in parts! I stamped the large flower from Tracy Scott's new set ETS08 (and then stamped some smaller flowers and leaves from the same set) onto book paper. They were coloured in in various ways, Distress markers, Prima Watercolours, NeocolourIIs. I then stamped the flowers onto the page too so that when they were cut out the extended flower still showed! I spattered some Black and Inky Pool Fresco paint before sticking on my book page flowers. The little butterfly was in my scraps box. I wanted a word but didn't want it to detract from the flower so StencilGirl Seth Apter stencil to the rescue!!
Just in case you can't pick up the pearly finish here is a photo from the side

ReplyDeleteBeautiful page. And great idea to use the pearl glaze.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen Infusions. Are they a bit like Brushos (which I have also never seen)? The background colors are fabulous, though and the beautiful flowers are no surprise to me, since you love flowers so much.
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm guessing the Football Museum, which would have been MY choice, was not where you went (grin).
Fantastic page, love the colours, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteDepending on the film, I'd have chosen the football museum too! Love that infusion page though.. it's gorgeous.
