T Stands For…………..the garden..

not our garden but the garden I visited with my friend Sarah. We had been out for coffee but sorry were chatting too much and I forgot to take photos if The T Hive cafe so you will have to wait until I go back there with hubby!
Sarah suggested a visit to Creative Recycling - a place we both love and it was only a short drive away! Everything in the shop is art using waste materials and we are always inspired when we go there!
The garden is between the main gallery and the one at the back where workshops are held.
I'll just let you wander around as we did - sorry Elizabeth - I know you will be here a while!!!

There is also a waterfall and pond made from fused glass

Sarah is younger than me so got down for a lower view!!!

Now, as I am here for T stands for Tuesday with Bluebeard and Elizabeth and I forgot to take a photo I will show you the takeaway coffee hubby and I had when we went to do our Christmas shopping!

I know Elizabeth will be there to welcome you with your drink related post so hope to see you there!

Finally yesterday we went out to Dunham Massey with our son and grandchildren.
It was a lovely frosty sunny day and I am rather pleased with this shot of the setting sun through the trees!

Thanks for looking, Chris

  7. Chris i find that the act of trying to figure out how to repurpose something is really a muscle and the more you use your imagination the easier it gets to see something as something different... I try to exercise that muscle as often as possible... thank you so much for the pictures .. i LOVED them... Happy first T day of 2017 Hugs! deb

  9. That is a cool garden, and I love that it isn't covered in a lot of snow. (Like I have). I really enjoyed the photos in this post. Happy T day! Hugs-Erika

  10. What a cool garden! You could spend hours there wandering around and looking at everything. I especially loved the glass pond and waterfall. Love your photo of the sun through the trees. The large tree looks quite old. The tree in the center may be close to the same age, but looks younger to me. Like the old year and the sun welcoming the new year. Oh, and nice to see no snow. We had our first snow event over the weekend. I'm counting down the days until the first day of Summer.

  11. I'm so sorry I'm late visiting. I am having all kinds of computer problems at the moment, and my brand new computer that is less than a week old is now gone. My friend Scott thinks it's the video card, but since it has a warranty, he took everything back with him. Of course, I was offline until we could figure out the problem. SEVEN hours later, and both of us are frustrated.

I was so impressed with Creative Recycling. I loved the garden, but the recycled pieces were amazing. Is that slate I see? And that waterfall is out of this world. The things they do with fused glass blows my mind at times.

I like the shot through the trees at Dunham Massey. I bet you all had a lot of fun.

Those disposable cups look very wintery and festive. I certainly would drink something in them. Thanks for sharing your trip to the Garden and Creative Recycling, along with your take out cups with us for T this Wednesday (NOW).
