I went to my new favourite size journal to make this(it's 8" x 8")
and added distress inks through a stencil then more distress inks randomly over the top. I then used the circle stencil and rubbed a baby wipe over it to remove some colour.
I use three different tree stamps to create the forest with a combination of different inks!
The Light behind the trees is so that I can join in with Valerie's theme of Light and Darkness at Art Journal Journey and the forest means I am can also join in with Moo Mania and More where the theme is Trees

This looks SO happy. I adore this. I also like the size of that journal but have never seen one that size here in the states. You did good.

Oh, oh, oh - that is heavenly, Chris. Utterly uplifting. I adore your layered forest, and the colours of the whole page are stunning. Wonderful! So glad to hear you're feeling better for having some time at the craft table... I know exactly what you mean (I've been using Linda's FJ 12 Tags as a way to get back in the swing and after a slightly sticky start, I feel I know my way around the craft room again), and I certainly feel better for having seen this page today. A new favourite for me.
