Back to school



I love Elizabeth's choice of theme at Art Journal Journey  which is Back to School

 As many of you know I used to teach Special Needs children and of course with three boys of my own I also had the experience of getting ready for the new year at school with them too!

 This page is about Mary who is having her first day at school. She is not happy about leaving Betty, her big sister who is reassuring her and says she will play with her later!
As you can see Betty is carrying flowers for their teachers.

 I used the alphabet strip from my JOFY mini to edge the page, the rest is some random inking and stamping. Small talk stickers show what Mary is thinking.

    This is absolutely adorable, Chris. I love how Mary is clinging to Betty. Soon she won't need Betty's support, but for now, I can tell she needs her for assurance. This is an incredible page, and I love the stamping, too. Your girls are well done, and I can tell you are a REAL stamper, too! Great AJJ entry, dear.

    BTW, have you heard from Dianne and your package?
