April in Paris!!
There is a wonderful new theme at Art Journal Journey - 'For the Record' - inspired by a song, chosen by April's host Linda of HeArtfully Inspired
I am showing my Calendar Journal pages as …I am off to Paris soon!! I have been singing this song for ages so it just had to be on my calendar!
I started by using my Inktense pencils and scribbling on the page and then blending in with a water brush

The rest was some random music stamping and stencilling and a combination of stamped (using distress inks and then water brushed to colour) and punched flowers. The Eiffel Tower was die cut using some music paper and I used the waste to stencil through to give a shadow before adding the shape(hoping for some sun!)
I wrote the title using Inktense and my water brush again.
Here is my page from last month all filled in if you are wanting to see what I was up to!!
I am always singing or humming (not very tunefully!) so I am hoping to have more pages soon!

You write so tiny and so well. You sure fill your squares in with lots of information. You lead a much busier life than I, that's for sure. And of course, I love your April in Paris. I know it will be a fun trip and a great meet-up with Patty. Now THIS is what I call a fantastic calendar page.
