I have been slightly pre-occupied recently and haven't really done much in the way of crafting!
Today I started a journal page so maybe I will finish it tomorrow!
a little sneaky peek! |
Today however…..is T day! I like to join Bluebeard and Elizabeth for T stands for Tuesday and here is my second Thank You….to Elizabeth, for hosting this weekly fun event!
I have been playing on my phone!
My Christmas cup will soon be put back into the cupboard until next year so here it is - with some Christmas stars - for my naughty Gingerbread latte!
My third Thank You is to my boys - they know me so well!
This card is from my eldest son and daughter in law
along with some decorative pears that I have added to my collection!
The big gold one at the back, the glass one at the front and one of the metal ones were part of my Christmas present! |
I received crafty vouchers from the two youngest so I can have a little spend without touching my purse(OK - you know that won't happen!!)so I have that to look forward to!
My next Thank You is to my lovely hubby - he puts up with the threads and paper bits on the carpet, my inky fingers and my disappearances into my craft room and then buys me this..
and tells me to choose a new camera - I do get the grumps when it keeps jumping to Video mode while I am trying to take photos!
The photos today are all using my phone camera. We went out today and I have seen one I like but don't like making 'snap' decisions on something so important!
Finally, Thank You for looking! Chris
That's a great cup and how exciting to get to pick out a new camera ♥ Love the Pear card and the collection of pears you have. Your family does seem to know you :) Have a great New Years and hope you get the project you want to finish all done.
ReplyDeleteYour journal page looks interesting, looking forward to seeing more. Hope you get time to get your last tag finished. Great card and I'm sure that cup will never be empty!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for the New year

What a fun blog today! I like the pear references. Mugs, ornaments, cards, it's all good fun. You have been spoilt by the sounds of it.
ReplyDeleteDo let us know what camera you intend to buy, or have bought when you do. I am ready for a new camera too and am undecided.
Thank you for visiting earlier,
Wishing you and yours all the best for 2016,
Lisca

Lovely post. Glad you had good times in the year, and hope you will have a great 2016. Love your pear collection. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWell dear Chris, I just had a blonde (or possibly SENIOR) moment when I saw all those pears. I swear I never put it together before that you might actually COLLECT pears! Where oh where has my mind been? You are getting quite a collection. The glass one is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteApples and pears seem to go together, don't they? Sort of like you and your husband. With him getting you a new camera, I think he's a real keeper. Knowing you, you'll do your homework and get the one that is perfect for you!
Thanks for sharing your mugs and your pears with us for T this Tuesday. BTW, that sneak peek looks like it was taken outside my kitchen window today.
And if I don't "see" you before 2016, have a safe and joyous New Year's Eve and Day. I know we're in for a fun pear shaped 2016. I certainly appreciate your friendship. (BTW, still no card in my mailbox).
Wonderful post with lots of interest. I always love visiting your blog and thank you for visiting mine as well.

Oh, Chris - what a lovely post. So happy to see all your wonderful pears - in card, collection and mug form - and what a treat to be able to go camera shopping! I love your altered Gingerbread latte... are you sure it's naughty? How can something so good be naughty?!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely comments over at mine, and I'm not surprised you've been distracted - will be thinking of you next week.
Hugs and happy New Year!

Your pear collection sure is fun Chris!
ReplyDeleteSince I got my iPhone I notice I use my 'real' camera much less, altho the telephoto on that is something the smart phone does not do well with.
All of the filters and apps have opened new worlds for me since I never got along with PS very well.
Lovely post full of goodness.
Happy T Day on Wednesday :-)
