I'm joining the party at Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog - The Altered Booklover to celebrate 2 years of 'T stands for Tuesday' where you are invited to share your drink!
Today is the day where you can also pass on an ATC, a great idea and as they say on Dragon's Den…."I'm in!"
I have tried to keep in with the colours Elizabeth uses for her logo
…well, ok, not quite there!!I used Chipped Sapphire distress ink over manilla card and stamped a couple of partial Paper Artsy clocks and some text. The cups were stamped onto mop up paper towel from my Brusho session last week and then stuck onto some of the leftover watercolour paper over the brightest yellow part I could find!
My page title says 'Too hot!' - this is because I know that where Elizabeth lives it would definitely be too hot for me!! (I hope you are having a good day today E!!)
It was quite hot in Paris when we had been for a walk on the Promenade Plantee, I requested our drink in what I thought was quite good French but the waiter, to my dismay answered me in English! When I asked where we so obviously English before he could answer the man at the side of us said - "Oh Yes!!" He did turn out to be very nice and had lived in London for several years! He did reassure me that my French was OK!!
Looking forward to seeing who I will send my ATC to!
Edit - If Krisha and the girls are next I will get making some more!!!
Thanks for looking, Chris
A wonderful card Chris... and you must have such great days in Paris!
ReplyDeleteHappy T-Day!
The ginger is cut in smal slizes and boiling water over it...
if it is hot outside you cool it down - or you drink it hot if it is cool outside..
with lemon and syrup--
or just pure...
it helps me to take away my appetite ....

ReplyDeleteChrissie xx
Oh how lovely! It's funny, I was sitting here drinking tea and your blog was the first in my Bloglovin' feed. For me it definitely is "tea o'clock". I love this piece. The colors, the shades, the lace and how you pull it all together. Thanks for a lovely tea time!
ReplyDeletelove that Tea O'clock! beautiful ATC...and fun story about the cafe'...happy T Day! ♥
ReplyDeleteTea o'clok is a nice expression, but for me coffee o'clock would be better! Love the ATC and photo. It's really hot here, too, feel like a wilted plant this evening! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWish I was in the swap because some lucky gal is going to get an AWESOME ATC!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's hot, muggy, and raining here. Even the rain is hot. I know because I was out in it when I was walking home from Sally's. I'm simply delighted you joined us for T this Tuesday because I really love your Paris photos. I'm still amazed at the coke bottles. Are those glass? Mostly all we get in the states is plastic bottles, and in any restaurant, we get fountain drinks, never from a bottle.
T O'clock? That is just too clever. What a great ATC.

It always amazes me when we travel how many people speak English. Your ATC is adorable!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not too hot in my wee part of the world. Actually, I cannot complain too much as the sun and I are not the best of friends!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty ATC.
Wishes
Lynne
Lovely art - happy tea o'clock to you!
ReplyDeleteYour ATC is really lovely and so clever too!
ReplyDeleteI feel sure they must have appreciatee you making the effort.
Here in Virginia (just outside Washington DC) we have been suffering in a terrible scorching heatwave. The weather forecast says it will be less humid and that will help cool things down....ahhh I can hardly wait.
Happy T Day
