WOYWW 310

Hi folks! better not hang around for long - I'm getting my bag ready for the crop on Saturday - why so early? We are going down tomorrow so we can see more of the area - last year we managed to get to Stonehenge and Avebury and we have few places in mind for this trip!
Just in case you haven't worked it out, it is Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday with a link to desks of the World courtesy of Julia!
Mine has been cleared - some things have already gone into the bag!
What you see here is what I bought at Happy Stampers on Saturday...
…also bought a Visible Images set - packed already!!The Crafty Individuals pile includes one of the new background stamps and the others from the bargain area for £1.50 each! The top one will be a perfect stamp to use in my journal for our upcoming trip to France
Best of all though - I got..
I haven't had time to play yet though!

A Quick Film Review
Yesterday we went to see 'Spooks'. We used to love the TV programme - this film was like it, only on a bigger screen, so if you liked 'Spooks' you will probably like this deals and deception film!

Thanks for looking, I'll be round later! Now, if I can only decide what else to pack!!
Chris

  13. Hiya Chris ... looking forward to seeing you again on Saturday! Your box of Brusho's made me smile ... a very similar box arrived on my doorstep only yesterday! All MaggieC's (Silvercrafter) fault ... had not heard of them until she mentioned them and I finally gave in and bought three little pots on Friday - got them home and immediately had a very quick play and ... well, now I have 15 little pots! Serious new stash envy ... love all your new goodies! Love Debbie xXx

  14. See you Saturday - safe journey down - let us know where you went visiting! Love the goodies - enjoy the brushos when you play with them - hope they told you, a good tip is to just pierce a small hole in the lid and use it like a salt pot to sprinkle the powder, don't undo the whole lid, you need so little of it.

  15. Enjoy your crop, Chris. If you are going south you will enjoy some lovely countryside. Thanks for your comment. Yes, I am enjoying the greenery around at the moment. It's a lovely fresh time of year and rain expected tomorrow, so I am mega happy.
If you are off to France you may be in for some hot weather. They are having very high temps in Europe and Africa, everywhere south of here.
    Love your stamps!

  19. Hi Chris, I do wish I could be with you all on Saturday but sure you'll all have a good time. Thanks for the visit to mine. The photographs of the Bluetits were good luck and patience. He appears to have his head poking out of the box but was actually flying out, they move so fast.
Thanks for the visit and happy crafty woyww, Angela x 34

  22. I asked at my local stamp and scrapbook store and the owner has never heard of Brushos. Seems they haven't really made it across the pond, or if they have, they have not made it to the middle of the country, Most of my mixed media friends have never heard of them.

Have fun at the crop. I'll be there in spirit, and of course, with an ATC for you. Thanks for the earlier visit. Happy late evening WOYWW from #9.

  26. Oh I'll def. stop by to see what you are doing at the crop :) I KNOW I need to make more, cause mine is multi-part and stupidly labor-intensive. One year I will make a simple one, but not this year....

    :)

    Happy pre-crop WOYWW!
