WOYWW 284

Christmas is coming!!!!There's some evidence on my desk, which I'm showing you of course, courtesy of Julia at the Stamping Ground!
Trying to keep it simple - a lovely image from House of Zandra that I bought at a show (it's a stand I always have to buy from!!)
Just tried out these stamped onto a watercolored background.
I have already tried stamping and water colouring to make a couple -
I'll add some more colour to the ones on my desk and make them up before I decide which to go with….

Off to see 'Fury' today with Brad Pitt so will be back later to visit!
We had a bonus last week, there was nothing on Wednesday we wanted to see but we had points on our Odeon card allowing us to see 'Turner' for free on Friday! What a brilliant film it was - it was over  2 hours long but the time just whizzed - a fascinating portrayal by Timothy Spall and a lovely trip into British art history.

If you want to see what happened with the Hougie board and lace it's here

Thanks for looking, Chris

  3. Oh you lucky thing - I rarely go to the cinema these days (so expensive with a big family) but Turner is one I'd love to see on the big screen. Am trying to convince the OH we need a date night ;)

Your watercoloured Christmas cards are just lovely and so different.

  13. Ooh, I love House of Zandra! I discovered it last September at Ally Pally and I just had to invest in some of their gorgeous paper! I love this image and what you've done with it! Loving the water-colour effect. So glad you enjoyed Turner. I really like Tim Spall. I do hope we can get to see it. We're out tomorrow night with a friend coming to stay from Belgium. Going to really have to make an effort and set some time aside for this one! xxx

  19. Lovely stamp that. I hadn't seen that one.
I looked at your Hougie blog. Beautiful box! All that lace and distressing etc. I like it. I know someone who would call this a 'Yere tiz' box.
Thanks for letting me look over your shoulder,
    Have a good week,
Sorry I’m late but I take my time going through them all. (I enjoy reading all the blogs and look at the photos)
