WOYWW 260

This is it! Happy Anniversary WOYWW! Oh! You really must go and find out about this if you don't know already - click here to be taken to our leader - Julia at the Stamping Ground! Don't think - as I did that you need a special invitation - we all have one thing in common  - we all have desks - some tidy, some messy but all with something to look at!!! Thank You Julia for starting all this!
Okay, I'll start with my desk but I know that some of you will want crop photos so keep looking!
Here is the only thing I did at the crop (apart from chat and eat LLJ's superb lunch!!)
You will see at the top of my journal a flower about to be made using the instructions from lovely Fiona and underneath the journal my raffle prize!Right at the back of my desk is one of the spiky
guys that Mary Ann made instead of atcs.

Now, what you really want to see and read about I'm sure. It really was great to meet so many talented crafters!
Julia on her chair pointing out the envelopes to pop our atcs in for folk who couldn't be there

Time to say Goodbye to Ali and Lynda
You will find lots more photos on other blogs, Helen, Julia and Jan have already posted some of their photos of the day - which of course was fantastic! It was lovely to meet everyone although of course a lot of us already knew each other thanks to WOYWW!
I sat next to the amazing Shaz who was making the most fantastic cards! She could just about see over the huge pile of inks she brought lol!!
Here she is with Zo, whose amazing colouring just blew me away - I'm sure my mouth was wide open while I was watching her!

Highlights of the day
Meeting, eating, seeing some fab crafting, chatting, playing!!!

I may be gone some time today - my son needs to go back to the hospital today so we are taking my grandson out - may just include a cinema visit!!!

I have some atcs to swap - if I have already said I will swap they will be in the post soon!

Have a great day, I will show you some photos of some of the places we visited in the area over the weekend - hopefully tomorrow!

Thanks for visiting, Chris

  2. It was SO good to put a face to your name. I loved seeing the crop through YOUR eyes, too. The joy of it all, and yes, I saw several things I haven't seen on other blogs. Really nice. And I'll be back to see the rest of your weekend trip. It just occurred to me what a great time to have the crop, since you guys had a bank holiday.

Have a great time with your grandson. Hope your son is OK. Happy, happy 5th Anniversary from #22.

  11. Hi Chris, it was lovely meeting you at last on Saturday. You are so right, where did they day go? Flew past it seemed. I love that picture of me and Zoe, and you are totally correct, her colouring is amazing to watch. I think she is so talented. Watching her last year made me determined to put a bit of effort into learning to do it well, instead of keep complaining that my colouring is lousy!Happy 5th, Have a great week, hugs, Shaz #72 xx

  17. Hello Miss Chris, wow your journal is flipping gorgeous, and that workshop looks fabulous so much fun, how wonderful to see the Gents in there, none of those where I live, I only go when I visit England :), and sadly I can't play this year, no time I'm excited to see all the ones the Deskers make, there are a lot participating, I'll make mine ahead so they will be ready to post next year. Thanks for sharing, ((( BIG HUGS)))

  24. Hi Chris, Happy 5th WOYWW Birthday
So sorry I missed the crop and I didn't know you were going!! Lucky you.
Don't know if I will make it to Bolton as it depends on the plumber. If he finishes the job he's on he may start on mine. Is it a mixed show with fabric too or just papercrafts? When will you be there. Let me know so if I CAN get there we might meet up.
    love Jo x
