Strangely part of the red has come out pink on my camera!! |
Just couldn't wait to use the stencil! I already had some paint mopped up from a painting session in my journal so with just 3 distress colours( salty ocean, stormy sky and walnut stain) set to and made a background. Some scraps and an image stamped and stored here at our caravan, coloured with distress markers. I also used part of a waxed wrapper that Booths have started to use for their bread(Thank you Booths)stamped with a music stamp.
I'm sneaking in last minute to the Simon Says Stamp 'Got ink?' challenge
Thanks for looking, Chris
Lovely serendipitous finds, and beautifully put into action on this gorgeous page, Chris! The layers in the background look fab...

Hi Chris. Is the stencil the background?
ReplyDeleteIf so it is beautiful.
Used to stop off at Booths when I visited my daughter in Harrogate, she's in London now!
Have a good week, though it might be cold

ReplyDeleteSo glad you managed to sneak this lovely page into the challenge! I had a go at 'Simon Says' for the first time too! I love the lace you found and the stencil. The little dancer on your page looks wonderful against such a pretty and effective background. The page dances! Julie Ann xx
