It's great to be back with Julia (and the gang)with a chance to snoop at the work desks of the world - look here to find out more! After 2 weeks absence I was getting withdrawal symptoms - two things stopped me - poor connections and nothing much really going on - we were away at our caravan and don't normally have difficulty with internet connections but it was just so erratic I practically gave up in the end!
We had a great time, even though it was cold and we had a few trips out to places both familiar and new!
So….what's on my desk at the moment? Well actually this photo was taken last night as I have an appointment to keep this morning!
I've been preparing a background opposite the page that was in my last post. I had just been adding a bit more with the stencils. Also on my desk a Ripe Persimmon DI that had escaped being labelled, some ribbon waiting to be rolled up and on the left half way down a new little journal that my eldest son presented me with last night when we went to see my grandson in a play! I think I am going to keep it to doodle and zentangle in.
Right, must get off, hope to get to visit a few desks via my phone, if not I'll try later!
Chris
Such a lovely busy desk... nice to get another angle on that beautiful page! Good work on the journal by eldest son... look forward to seeing what ends up inside it. I've missed a few, but happy to be back (and with my mother in tow this time!)... Happy WOYWW!

ReplyDeleteI’ve never been brave enough to attempt an art journal but love seeing what others do with them. Your pages are looking great and I’m loving the bright colours you’re using.

Love your journal, and you are still trying to encourage Spring for me! Keep at it girl, it is still drifting about like moths, not a lot of it though- thank goodness.

Ooh nice stuff going on here - love the colour of the Di naughtily label free! Made me smile! How thoughtful of your son. I would have to add it to my pile of coveted and unuseds...I'm scared of journalling!
ReplyDeleteHi Chris, Nice art journal page, This is one area I have never tried, but fancy having a go, I must get a journal and start. Your new journal your son gave you looks perfect for a few zentangle sessions. Have a great day and thanks for your visit. Hugs Mo x #62
