WOYWW 193

Another whole week has gone by and it's time to share my desk with you! The desk flash mob that pops up every Wednesday is courtesy of Julia at Stamping Ground.
Here's mine this week. I seem to have a lot going on this week in the way of craftiness so excuse the rather untidy little area I still have left!
I've painted the Tando Creatives heart box ready for decorating -using - ta!da! - my new Paper Artsy Fresco paints that I got my hands on at the Manchester craft show - Oh! I love them! As you can see I had to use baby wipes to paint with - can't remember where I tidied my set of brushes to! You can also catch a glimpse of the flowers made with a little bargain - an Alterations die for mini tattered florals.
It's actually snowing real flakes here this morning instead of the usual 'trying to snow' flakes we seem to have been getting!
Don't think you can see them though! Can you see the derelict pub through the tree - it is a listed building - the front is beautiful, but sadly a few years ago there was a fire and it has sat there abandoned since then - wish someone would come along and breathe some life into it!
Well that's it for now, we are off to the cinema so I'll visit later if you don't mind!
Chris

  3. You should go over there one day with a beer and a chair and sit and have a drink, invite some friends too. Nothing worse than a derelict pub.

Love the little heart box you are building, looks interesting.

  6. I hope you get many happy hours with your paints I have just fallen in love with the eco paints and had to build a collection of them. I use cut and dry foam for painting as I don't like the lines brushes leave I have not tried baby wipes
Happy WOYWW I hope you have a great day

  13. Can't wait to see your Gelli Plate etc on your work desk lol. I have just completed my March background using Paper Artsy Fresco paints, they are gorgeous for stamping on. I am not a WOYWWER these days but I always like to see what you have on your work desk.xx

  14. Hi Sue, I had my hands on these paints at the show, but put them back because like Ria I have such a lot of eco paints, it seemed silly to buy more but I do like that blue, looking forward to seeing the finished project. Hugs Mo x

  20. Hi Chris thanks for popping over, I can't believe it's nearly a week since Trafford it's gone so quickly. I've sent for some more fabric from that lovely stall. It's expensive but they've let me have it for show price.
We've had tons of the white stuff fall here today in Rossendale but thankfully it's raining now.
You've got some lovely things on your blog. Have a good crafty week.

  22. Hi Chris and thanks for visiting yesterday. Didn't realise last Thursday who you were. Just walked in the door when we bumped into you so I didn't have my head on right. Lovely to meet some fellow WOYWWers.
We had snow yesterday but it went in the evening rain. Still had to do the dog walk though, in a mini blizzard.
    Happy crafting

  23. I love the look of that heart box, and the way that your desk has shrunk to only a small space for crafting...mine does that on a regular basis. Thanks for sharing. Happy belated WOYWW! Caro #65

  24. What a shame for that building to just lie there mouldering, but I would think it will cost a large fortune to put it right and bring it back into some kind of use. I can't wait to see your heart-shaped box when it is finished. Thank you for your visit and for your advice on that CD. I have just downloaded it and will try it out tonight. Let's see if I get to the last track. Have a good week. xx Maggie #8
