A Summer Holiday

I don't often enter challenges but when I saw this at Simon Says Stamp and Show I knew I had just the stamps! Sheena's Little Bit Sketchy stamps are so beautiful - I used part of the 'On the Water' stamp and part of 'The Boat House' stamp and part of the 'Peaceful Lakeside' stamp. The words are from Stamposaurus 'Beach Words'
The theme is 'Summer Holidays' and these stamps made me think of my 50's childhood holidays in East Anglia(although the rowing boats were on a boating lake)I used Shaded Lilac distress ink to tint the card and Promarkers to colour the images using colours that reminded me of the illustrations in books at that time.
Paper strip and bunting came from an old Shabby Princess download .... Oh! I do love bunting and at the moment there's so much of it around what with the Queen's Jubilee and the Olympics coming along! Hurray!
Thanks for looking, Chris
ps Fingers crossed - we may have sold our house!!
