Hi everyone, it's time for our new theme at Try it On Tuesday, and it's 'Spring'. As you will see, the Design Team are definitely ready for it!
We are at last about to get some sun in the UK. I was out yesterday for a little while and saw blossom and green leaves appearing.
I may have mentioned before that I really love Spring flowers and I have another of my favourites on my journal page.
I know that Primroses are usually yellow but I have picked red for a similar flower in that family, the cultivated variety that also come in a whole range oF colours.
The stamp is by Crafty Individuals and the quote a Paper Artsy stamp by Alison Bomber.
I hope you will join us at TIOT with your Spring creations this time . As usual you have two weeks to get your entry in.
I am hosting at Art Journal Journey this month with my theme of 'Spring Forward' so I also be adding this to the AJJ blog.
Hubby's first Physio today so that's where I'll be too!
Thanks for looking, Chris
Apologies to all, I spent most of the day in the hospital.

This is so pretty . . . Don't you just love Spring!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous. I really like that focal stamp. And your coloring is fabulous. Thanks for another great entry for your theme at AJJ.
ReplyDeleteHope hubby isn't too sore from physio.
A beautiful page Chris, I love the flower images and how you coloured them.
ReplyDeleteGreat page Chris. That is a cool image (or images) and how they go together. And I like the line in the quote about the earth being like a child in spring. It is, and it's very exciting after winter, isn't it? Hope the hubby is improving and moving forward. Yesterday sounded very stressful. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI had red primroses and a few other colors. I had them lining the front walk. I thought the primrose path was a fun idea. Hope your hubby is feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteThis is so creative Chris! LOVE all the spring details! Happy Spring! ((HUGS)) Helen
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Chris hugs from the lake

Im sure I have seen red/pink primula, they look so pretty. Beautiful stamp, not see that one before.. it really does speak Spring doesn't it. A lovely layout Chris.
ReplyDeleteHope Hubby is on the mend and getting stronger every day.
Take care Hugs Tracey xx
I love this image Chris and Primula and primroses are one of my favourite spring flowers. Love the quote you've used.
