So Wise!

 Hi everyone, another scheduled post with my latest entry for Neet's 'Fur and/or Feathers' at Art Journal Journey.

I've used another deconstructed card. I created a background with lots of neutral papers and then added the Crafty Individuals owl at an angle. The leaf came from one of the pieces of paper. 

I didn't manage to write posts for as many pages as I'd made and not sure whether I will manage to write one using my tablet so please accept my apologies Neet.

Out of the darkness

 Hi everyone, this was a very quick page for Neets AJJ  'Fur and/or Feathers theme.

I had dome some stencil cleaning onto a page so I dded some stamping using one of the oldest AAll and create stamps designed by Abs.

The cat is by Lavinia stamps

Sing little bird

Another scheduled post! 

Hi everyone this page for Neet's Fur and/or Feathers at Art Journal Journey has more feathers and none more lovely than this cute Aall and Create bird by Bipasha

I added paint to my page with baby wipe then stencilled and stamped onto it.

I stamped the bird and then stamped and fussy cut the main image as the background made it look a bit dull.

The word is from some Aall and Create washi tape

A New Day...

 Hi everyone I have a page for Neets AJJ theme - Fur and/or Feathers

I've used another Katzelkraft stamp with a dotty stencil background to which I added a Carabelle Studio big stamp.

T Stands For....Taking To The Road

Hi everyone, I've been racing around so much that I forgot all about my calendar journal -I do write down what we do in my planner but hadn't got round to completing my page - lots of fussy cutting!

What's this I hear you say (well, maybe?)

My calendar has only one week stuck down....I am taking the rest with me to fill in while we are driving around in France.

The owls are Katzelkraft stamps and I love them. With all that's going on in the UK politics wise I thought a group of owls deserved they correct group name....although one owl is making his own political statement!

I'm joining in at Art Journal Journey and Neet's 'Fur and/or Feathers

Here is August filled in.

We haven't had much time for outings but we did get together with one of my sons and grandchildren at RHS Bridgewater - we had a lovely walk and chat in the sun!

Finally near the exit is this seat decorated by local schools

For my T Stands For Tuesday pics this week and my chance to join Bleubeard and Elizabeth at The Altered Book Lover for a drink I have a photo of a decadent hot chocolate that hubby had at Fletcher Moss a while ago 

We shared some Date and walnut cake and I had an Americano.

Busy doing nothing at Try It On Tuesday.

 Hi everyone, have you ever thought what animal you would like to be? I have and it's definitely a cat!

Our new theme at Try It On Tuesday is 'Animals - Real or Imaginary'.

The Design Team have a whole range of animal art to inspire you - please take a look here.

I covered my landscape page with a range of coloured papers and stamped tissue paper. 

The cats had been on a card that I wasn't so happy with, so the background was made with them in mind.

The quote 'Forecast for today:unproductive with a chance of a nap' seems to have been written with cats in mind!

Fur or Feather

 Hi everyone, its time to welcome Neet, of Hickydorums blog to Art Journal Journey with her fabulous new theme of 'Fur and/or Feather'

First of all, thanks to all of you who added such lovely pages for my theme last month.

This month Neet wants to see your pages that include anything with 'Fur And/Or Feather' As Neet says, even dogs have some fur on their bodies, even though most of it is hair!

Neet has some great suggestions for you on the Art Journal Journey blog. 

My page has fur and feathers..

I had some paper from a Somerset magazine tucked away in a box that kept popping to the top so I decided to use it for my page. I added some stencilling through some sequin waste and a large dot stencil.

I added a grey hare (disguised by the darker area around him) using a Crafty Individuals stamp and an eagle (looking for a meal) cut from some Stamperia paper. The words are from a Tim Holtz Big Chat word sticker book. I inked around the paper and around the words with black ink.

I love seeing any bird of prey but in this instance I hope the hare keeps still and isn't seen by the eagle.
