Hi everyone, Spring does seem to be here, at least for a while, colder weather is predicted for the weekend. Lets hope that the folk who planned on crowding onto the beaches are put off - we still have a long way to go to be safe enough for such closeness to others.
We have mostly been staying in and some days have been spent sharing our table to make our Wanderlust pages.
I used shades of blue....We decided to take a walk at one of our favourite gardens and as its only a couple of miles away (one if we walk by the river)means that we can still stay local.
The Parsonage gardens are beautiful and until last year we had never heard of them!
This time last year we were in lockdown so missed the Spring colours there. I can tell you that they are beautiful and will mostly speak for themselves.
I sneaked my camera under the window to get a shot of these beauties in the greenhouse
The Magnolia is sure to get better than this even!!!
From here we took the short walk down to one of the entrances to Fletcher Moss Park.
The pond area is already looking better than it did two weeks ago.
We walked past this wall where the shoots were just sprouting..and past the little roundabout.
We walked round to the cafe area and picked up a coffee...and walked back to...The Parsonage to drink itAs you can see quite a few folk around now but still lots of free benches.
It is here I will join Bleubeard and Elizabeth for T Stands for Tuesday
Hubby smiling at last - take 4!!!! Before that series of funny faces!!!
We really enjoyed our outing and look forward to going back again later this week!
I do hope you enjoyed seeing these signs of Spring!
Thanks for looking, Chris
Love the art you both made and the little collages are precious. The personage is beautiful, you had a great walk there. Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWhat a delight your post is-I enjoyed seeing both of your art collages-so awesome you are doing this together, and I really enjoyed going on the walk with you. Really loved seeing all of the spring flowers-beautiful! Hugs Kathy
ReplyDeleteYour pages are gorgeous! The designs look amazing, a feast for the eyes 😁. I enjoyed seeing all the beautiful spring blooms too, they all look so amazing and you captured them in your photos so wonderfully! I can report that the beaches were packed here today with the hot sunny weather and there were a lot of cars so I don't think they were that local, needless to say we didn't walk along the beachfront today! Wishing you a happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteoh what beautiful spring flowers throughout the gardens, and I just love the stone building and stairs with all the potted flowers!
ReplyDeleteBoth you and hubby did a brilliant job with your art lesson!!! The mini collages are beautiful and I love how the squares were incorporated to blend in to the pages. Happy T day!
You collages and mini collages are great Chris. They do look like they were fun to make, for both you and your art partner. And wow, the photos are beautiful. Spring has really arrived for you. Hope it was a great T day. Hugs-Erika
